In the news:
2-7-08 El Toro (9-17), (2-8) finished off the season with a road victory over Trabuco Hills 45-27.  Chantal Bowman led all scorers with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Samantha Hansen added 9 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 assists.  Taylor Elliott had 8 points and 3 assists.  Corey Robinson added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists in a good team effort.  We wish the outgoing seniors, Christina, Nicole and Mai-Thy the best of luck in the future and thanks for the memories.

2-5-08 El Toro (8-17), (1-9) dropped a league game at home on senior night to Huntington Beach 53-31.  Samantha Hansen led the Chargers with 12 points and 8 rebounds.  Christina Wilkes had a nice showing in her final home game and scored 11 points.  Taylor Elliott added 6 points and Mai-Thy Vuong scored 2 points in her final home game.

1-31-08 El Toro (8-16), (1-7) dropped a home game to Foothill 69-46.  Samantha Hansen led El Toro with 26 Points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks.  Taylor Elliott had 8 points.  Rachelle Henderson, Christina Wilkes and Renee Ozar all had 3 points each.  Kristi Roberts had 2 points and Nicole Boncuk had 1 point to round out the scoring.

1-29-08 El Toro (8-15), (1-6) dropped a league game on the road to Woodbridge High School 58-45.  A 2 point game at half time got away from them but the girls gave a solid effort.  Samantha Hansen led the way with 19 points and 13 rebounds.  Taylor Elliott added 8 points and 6 rebounds.  Kristi Roberts had a season high with 5 points.  Corey Robinson and Rachelle Henderson had 4 points each.  Christina Wilkes added 3 points and Chantal Bowman rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

1-24-08 El Toro (8-14), (1-5) dropped a league game on the road to Northwood 45-30.  Samantha Hansen had 10 points.  Chantal Bowman had 6 points and 7 rebounds.Taylor Elliott and Rachelle Henderson had 4 points each.

1-22-08 El Toro (8-13),(1-4) won their first league game over Trabuco Hills 50-42.  Samantha Hansen led all scorers with 22 points and 9 rebounds.  Chantal Bowman had a strong performance with 12 points and 9 rebounds.  Rachelle Henderson did a nice job at point and had 9 points and 6 rebounds.  Corey Robinson had 6 points and 6 rebounds.  Taylor Elliott added 1 point to round out the scoring in good team effort.

1-17-08 El Toro (7-13), (0-4) dropped a road game to Foothill 46-33.  Samantha Hansen led the Chargers with 17 points and 7 rebounds.  Taylor Elliott and Rachelle Henderson had 6 points each.  Corey Robinson had 3 points and Nicole Boncuk added 1 point to round out the scoring.

1-15-08 El Toro (7-12), (0-3) lost on the road to Huntington Beach 48-39. Samantha Hansen led El Toro with 18 points. Chantal Bowman added 6 points. Corey Robinson and Rachelle Henderson had 5 points each. Nicole Boncuk hit a half court shot for 3 points and Taylor Elliott rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

1-10-08 El Toro (7-11), (0-2) lost a close one at home to Northwood 49-40.  Samantha Hansen led ET with 16 points and 16 rebounds.  Chantal Bowman contributed 11 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.  Taylor Elliott and Christina Wilkes had 5 points each.  Corey Robinson had 2 points and 6 rebounds and Rachelle Henderson added 1 point to round out the scoring.

1-8-08 El Toro (7-10), (0-1) opened league play at home with a loss to Woodbridge 56-42.  Chantal Bowman and Taylor Elliott led the Chargers with 9 points each.  Corey Robinson and Samantha Hansen added 8 points each.

12-29-07 El Toro (7-9) finished 3-1 in the Costa Mesa Tournament by beating Mission Viejo 54-45 in a revenge game.  Samantha Hansen led all scorers with 26 points and 19 rebounds while gaining "All Tournament" honors.  Chantal Bowman added 11 points and 5 rebounds with key defensive stops.  Corey Robinson had a strong performance with 10 points and 5 rebounds.  Nicole Boncuk sank key free throws down the stretch for a total of 4 points.  Taylor Elliott had 2 points and Rachelle Henderson had 1 point to round out the scoring.

12-28-07 El Toro (6-9) came back from 9 points down to defeat San Ramon Valley 47-42 in tournament play.  Chantal Bowman led all scorers with 17 points and 5 rebounds.  Samantha Hansen added 15 points, 13 rebounds and 7 blocks.  Cory Robinson had 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Taylor Elliott sank 2 crucial free throws down the stretch for a total of 5 points to round out the scoring in a good team effort.

12-27-07 El Toro (5-9) dropped a tough one in tournament play to Tustin High School 51-43.  Samantha Hansen led all scorers with 22 points and 14 rebounds.  Chantal Bowman had 7 points and 6 rebounds.  Corey Robinson added 6 points and 7 rebounds.  Taylor Elliott had 4 points and 4 assists.  Rachelle Henderson had 3 points and Nicole Boncuk added 1 point to round out the scoring.

12-26-07 El Toro (5-8) opened tournament play with a victory over Westminster High School 54-31.  Samantha Hansen led all scorers with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  Chantal Bowman added 13 points in the victory.  Taylor Elliott had 7 points and Rachelle Henderson went 6 for 6 from the line to add 6 points in a team effort

12-18-07 El Toro (4-8) dropped a close on at home to Marina High School 51-47.  Samantha Hansen led all scorers with a season high of 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.  Chantal Bowman had another solid game with 11 points.  Christina Wilkes and Corey Robinson added 6 points each.  Taylor Elliott rounded out the scoring with 4 points and had a team high in steals with 6 for the game.

12-17-07 El Toro (4-7) dropped a non-league game to Mission Viejo 55-27.  Chantal Bowman led the Chargers in scoring with 17 points.  Samantha Hansen added 8 points and 8 rebounds.

12-15-07 El Toro (4-6) lost a tough battle to Whittier Christian 41-34 in tournament play. Samantha Hansen led the Chargers with 13 points. Chantal Bowman added 8 points in the loss. Christina Wilkes had 6 points and Corey Robinson had 5 points. Jaycee Slack completed the scoring with 2 points.

12-14-07 El Toro (4-5) dropped another tournament game to Valencia High School 56-35. Chantal Bowman had a strong performance with 16 points. Samantha Hansen added 7 points and 6 blocks.

12-12-07 El Toro (4-4) dropped a tournament game to Summit High School by a score of 56-32. Samantha Hansen led the team with 15 points and 4 blocks.  Corey Robinson and Rachelle Henderson added 4 points each.

12-10-07 El Toro (4-3) opened the El Dorado tournament with a victory over Cerritos, 46-37.  Samantha Hansen led the way with 14 points, 14 rebounds and 8 blocks.  Corey Robinson had a strong performance with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.  Chantal Bowman added 7 points while Taylor Elliott and Christina Wilkes added 6 points each.  Rachelle Henderson had two points to round out the scoring.

12-7-07 El Toro (3-3) defeated Capo Valley 49-42 in a non league game.  Samantha Hansen had a strong performance with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks.  Taylor Elliott had 10 points and Rachelle Henderson added 9 points with aggressive play.  Chantal Bowman hit key free throws down the stretch and had 8 points.  Christina Wilkes contributed 6 points and Corey Robinson added 2 points and 4 assists to round out the scoring in a good team performance.

12-5-07: El Toro (2-3) lost a non league game to San Clemente, 71-44.  Chantal Bowman led all scorers with 14 points.  Samantha Hansen added 12 points and 6 rebounds.  Rachelle Henderson contributed 9 points, Nicole Boncuk had 4 points, Amanda Hansen had 3 points and Corey Robinson added 2 points to round out the scoring.
